Showcasing our latest rope access installations
and building projects across Sydney

SBS on Demand

A variety of rigging and hauling techniques were used extensively in the rope access installation of three sky signs and their complex supporting structures.

Baxter Rd Hotel

Dual winch motor lifts and suspended assembly of the large fabricated letters were required to install the heavy Moxy sky sign and rails within a very narrow footprint.

Prince Of Wales Hospital

To prevent a partial site closure on this tier one construction site, we installed a height safety system and hauled all signage and components using our own battery operated winches. After our installation was complete, we were able to scan and locate buried conduits embedded in the concrete pour, to run the extra low voltage wiring back into an accessible location in the building.

AMP QQT

This project marked the Installation of the first hybrid sky sign in Australia. We installed two 1.5t fabricated letter and logo signs, and mounted a total of 700 L.E.D sticks to illuminate and animate the display screens.

UNSW Hospital

Our riggers first installed an engineered heavy steel structure inside the building plantroom wall. This structure projects out with steel spigots to support the fabricated letters and logo. We hauled and installed all signage using our remote winches.

Metrics

IAS have successfully completed the installation of three, illuminated sky signs on North Sydney's tallest building. The largest Metrics sky sign having a 13 meter stroke through the centre. To comply with fire engineering the faces are constructed of perforated aluminium.

Scape Kingsford

Lifting and installation of two Scape sky signs and support rails. This project was completed during hand over of the building, so all the pieces were hauled up the exterior of the building using our own lifting equipment.

Cyber CX

Prior to the new signage going up, we first removed all the old Allianz sky signs from the building. Our team then completed the installation of 2 large fabricated letter and logo signs and a two piece staging frame on 3 different elevations. We employed safety netting for the removal and installation in all areas that posed an increased risk to public safety.

Zurich

Another recognisable sky sign installation completed by our in house rope access technicians. The Zurich tower sky sign installation was completed during the buildings construction on time and on budget.

Scape Kensington

A new location for Scape, and another sky sign installation for IAS. This project required the installation of four sets of sky signs and carrier rails. For lifting on this occasion, we were able to benefit from the tower crane on site, as well as our battery operated winches, for the two elevations where the crane could not reach.
